Western Sydney Women Founder Amanda Rose was quoted in The Australian recently on the recent focus on women in STEM, sparked by Robin Khuda’s $100m donation to the University of Sydney to support young women from Western Sydney in pursuing STEM careers.

This funding has the potential to create incredible opportunities for young women in Western Sydney! However, this funding must be paired with an education campaign to ensure all students, especially those who never saw university as an option, recognise this as a genuine opportunity for their future.
